At Mission College of Evangelism we strive to offer the best possible value in evangelism training. We keep the cost as low as possible while still giving our students a high quality learning experience. We realize that finances are a concern for many people. We will do what we can to help you, but if you know that you will be short of funds you need to be proactive in raising the money for your education. The following information is offered to help you plan your Mission College education.
Cost of Attendance
The cost of the 3-½ month Applied Ministries (evangelism) program is $3600.00 as of January 1, 2011. (Please refer to the Mission College Student Handbook for more detailed pricing information.) This includes tuition, housing, meals, books, and transportation to school sponsored events (outreach, evangelistic meetings, etc.) The Student Financial Worksheet is designed to help you budget your other possible expenses during your stay at Mission College.
Payment of Mission College Fees
Upon acceptance into your program a down payment of approximately ½ of your total program cost is due with the remainder due at registration. In special circumstances you may apply for a payment plan. The payment plan requires $2000.00 due at registration and the balance in equal payments which are due by the 20th of each month. Your bill will need to be paid in full before graduation. Arrangements for this payment plan must be made before registration. You must have any payment plan approved in writing by the finance office before Registration.
Financing Your Education
Because of the unique nature of our program, Mission College of Evangelism is not affiliated with any federal or state financial aid or loan programs. For your convenience, we accept all major credit cards.
Many prospective students who are short of funds for the Mission College program raise the money by asking friends, family, and members of their local church. This is a very effective way of obtaining funding for your education. We are aware that most people do not like to ask for money, but there are many people, whom the Lord has blessed, that are looking for a worthy cause to give money to. Your desire to work for the Lord should be a very worthy cause and if you do not ask you will not receive.
From time-to-time we have a very limited amount of student scholarship funds available. These are available to individuals who can demonstrate that they have exhausted all other avenues of obtaining funding for their education. To apply for these you must show proof (copies of fundraising letters sent out, etc.) that you have done all that you can to obtain funds. Please contact the office for more information.
