The training we offer includes, but is not limited to:
PERSONAL EVANGELISM QTR. CR. HRS. – 7
This class equips the student to work effectively for the salvation of souls one-on-one. It entails a minimum of 70 hours of class work and personal Bible studies. Each student is required to have a minimum of three in-home Bible Studies on a regular basis over a 9 week period. In addition to the minimum Bible study time, an additional 30 hours preparation time is required.
PUBLIC EVANGELISM QTR. CR. HRS. –
All aspects of public evangelism are discussed and the benefits of the Biblical approach analyzed. There is a minimum of 40 hours of class work plus a field school of evangelism requiring a minimum of 45 hours of application.
PASTORAL EVANGELISM QTR. CR. HRS. – 3
This class teaches the application of both personal and public evangelism in the pastoral setting. Also, the student is prepared to educate his congregation in effective outreach. (12 hours minimum)
BIBLE DOCTRINES QTR. CR. HRS – 5
Sixty hours of careful study of the 27 fundamental beliefs of the Seventh-day Adventist Church and their relationship to the plan of salvation forms the core of this class.
PROPHETIC INTERPRETATION QTR. CR. HRS. – 3
A fresh approach to the books of Daniel & Revelation relating their end-time message not only to end events, but to the character of Christ and the consummation of the plan of salvation. (total of 16 class hours)
PROPHETIC GUIDANCE QTR. CR. HRS. – 1.5
A careful walk through the life of a modern prophet and the relevance of such a life to the church of God. (total of 15 class hours)
CHURCH HISTORY QTR. CR. HRS. – 1.5
An enlightening view of the events that led to and established the Seventh-day Adventist Church as a world denomination. A careful look at the significance of such events in light of the calling to be a voice crying in the wilderness to “prepare the way of the Lord”. (15 hours of class time)

HOMILETICS QTR. CR. HRS. – 6
Speech as it relates to the presentation of Biblical truths. This entails a minimum of 30 hours of class time and numerous opportunities for public presentation.
EMERGENCY FIELD MEDICINE QTR. CR. HRS. – 1.5
Considering that mission service often leads the public servant into areas that are not blessed with modern medical facilities, and recognizing that such service rarely remunerates proportionately with the costs of such medical services should they be available, this class is geared to give a basic understanding of how one should deal with such challenges. Taught by medical personnel well qualified and acquainted with such challenges, the class meets a minimum of 15 hours.
COMMUNITY HEALTH EDUCATION QTR. CR. HRS. – 4
This class familiarizes the student with the many health programs available to benefit the community’s general fitness. Also discussed are the limitations of such health educators and how best to cooperate with local health agencies.
NATURAL REMEDIES QTR. CR. HRS. – 1.5
A special class providing the students with the tools which enable them to handle many of the everyday health challenges. Special care is given to teach the difference between significant and insignificant health challenges, thus protecting against damaging lapses in time between the onset of significant symptoms and professional medical help. (15 hours minimum)
CHRISTIAN SALES QTR. CR. HRS. – 1.5
A class on Christian Salesmanship and its particular application to Literature Evangelism. A 15 hour class with a minimum of 12 hours of application time.
PERSONAL FINANCE & STEWARDSHIP QTR. CR. HRS. – 1.5
A special emphasis on how to arrange personal finances so as to be financially independent and how that impacts our Christian calling to be faithful stewards of all that God has entrusted to us. (9 hours)
